Haunted Hayride

Haunted Hayride

Yakira, I and our friends Matt, Amanda and Barbara decided to get in the Halloween Spirit, so we went to Fruggie's Farm for a "Haunted Hayride". Fruggie's is located right off of Merrick Ave in East Meadow, a rather strange place for a farm, but who am I to judge? At $10 a pop and after waiting for about two hours, we went on our ride.

I'll give them credit, they did a good job! We managed to catch one of the ghouls for a quick photo-op, but the rest weren't that friendly. Kira almost got taken out by the mad chainsaw killer, but I was able to rescue her. It should be really crazy on Halloween night, so anyone who's interested, head over there.

Gellin'

i'm gellin'

You gellin' like Magellan? Well, apparently i'm gellin'...yeah, I bought those things. They're actually pretty comfortable, they make wearing my work shoes all week much more bearable. Yeah, the commercials suck, but Dr. Scholl does know what he's talking about.

Yom Kippur

Well, I survived another Yom Kippur. No food or drinks for 25 hours, it almost took out my fiancé, I wouldn't recommend it. The Oelbaum family was quite hospitable as usual; I have a bed reserved for me in the basement. I hope that after Kira and I are married that I won't still be down there, but apparently that whole prospect is still under review.

Ahh yes..and after our Yom Kippur blogging conversation... Dr. Oelbaum, "hi" and yeah, this is my blog.

A Night With The Guys

Me, Stan, Puleo, Mike and Phil

It's not often that we get all of us into the city...We had a good time getting drinks at Prohibition watching Phil's favorite lead singer!! (clap..clap) Anyway, Pules we'll be up here waiting for you to come back from Culinary school. Meanwhile, enjoy the warm weather.
