Fun Under the Big Top with Grandma the Clown

No, Clowns are not my favorite thing in the world, but I decided to throw caution to the wind for a fun weekend activity with Kira. The Big Apple Circus had come to town and decided to set up their tent in Eisenhower Park, right down the street from our "Scottage".

The show was pretty entertaining, especially the tumblers. Grandma the Clown puttered around the center ring, periodically attacking people with her purse, but what can you expect from a senile clown? I give the whole show Two Bizams!

A Sand-Wich on the Long Beach Boardwalk

Nothing wrong with a little exercise. Kira and I decided to walk the length of the Long Beach, NY boardwalk, back and forth, a 2 & 1/4 mile long stretch each way. Apparently, they used elephants to build the boardwalk, or something like that..here's a bit of info on Long Beach if you wanted to know more (Long Beach Info).

It started getting a bit windy on the way back, and being right next to the beach, we both ended up eating a good bit of sand..Yum!

The Birthday Dinner

Following up on my good old 27th birthday, we went out to dinner at our favorite 70's throwback, The Melting Pot!

What's not to like? Bread and cheese on a stick, meat on a stick, marshmallows and melted chocolate...

Happy Birthday to me! and I made it through the doggy door!

Well ladies and gents, it's that time of year again, April 30th and I'm 27. Thanks to everyone who's called in to give me their "Happy Birthday" renditions.

On a separate note, for all of you naysayers who said that I couldn't make it through Frostie's doggy door at my parents house, here's photographic proof. HA! Frostie won't use the door now though, he thinks it's a human door.

Chad Gaad Yaaaaaaa...

Another classic Meltzer seder, another classic rendition of Chad Gad Ya. Stevis was on point with this one, held the last note for nearly a record 25 seconds this time.

Bertnis (Robbie) and I got a few more people in on the "Root" club this year, those of us who actually eat slices of the bitter herb root rather than that lame-o pre-processed purple stuff.

Ah..well, L'shana Haba'a B'Yerushala'im.

Computers for Sale!

Well, we had a few old computers for sale at work... With just one small post on Craigslist, they were gone in a matter of hours, Go Internets!
